The product, Data Compass (hereafter is referred to as DC) mainly has the following advantages compared with other logical data recovery products:
1. DC can access and scan the patient drive which has been no longer detected by the computer because of severe bad sector problem.
2. DC can read data from bad sectors, which can’t be done by traditional data recovery software.
3. DC adopts physical write blocker and ShadowDisk technology to make sure no change or damage will be occur to the patient drive; this is very important and is an advantage especially for customers who works in data recovery companies (they can promise their customers that even if we can’t recover your data, we will return the drive to you in its original status).
4. DC is a hardware-software complex product, which allows users to conduct many low-level operations towards the patient hard drive when doing data recovery, therefore to increase the depth and success rate of data recovery.
