“YPS Sombrero” is an universal software application for creating databases, which means adding and searching data in a quick and simple way. As it goes without saying, “Sombrero” covers almost every kind of file: audio, video, text, pictures, pdf etc. The advantages that make these “Sombrero” solutions extremely fine for use are their efficiency and simplicity. There are no unnecessary functions, buttons etc., which do nothing but confuse the users. You can enter the metadata you need, the metadata only or connect it to a physical file (audio, video, text, picture) and send them together to the database. If it’s about exchanging data within a local network or Internet and the file’s size is too large, there’s a preview sample created, for previewing only. All metadata is stored as .txt files, which means that the speed of data transfer is as fast as it can be! There is no limit of number of files that can be entered into this database.
