dataSentinel is a USB drive, preloaded with software that will protect critical data on a user’s computer, and allow them access to that same data, anywhere on the planet. Quite simply, the user plugs in the USB drive and our application starts up. The user selects the important business files and folders to be protected. From then on, these files are stored on online data servers and are dynamically accessible from any internet connected computer. It is that simple. No software or hardware to install. No backup scheduling, no CDs, no tapes. As for security, our technology utilizes a unique pseudo-random algorithm seeded by a 256 bit AES key and the fully-qualified path name of the file. File integrity is preserved by a managed redundancy of three block copies. Basically, files are chopped into hundreds of pieces, scrambled into binary gibberish and hidden amongst the blocks of millions of other files on our many servers scattered across the continent.
